'What A Victory': From SRK to Jr NTR, Stars Celebrate India's T20 World Cup Win (x)
Mumbai: After Team India's historic victory at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, Bollywood celebrities including Anushka Sharma, Vicky Kaushal, Akshay Kumar, Jr NTR and Shah Rukh Khan congratulated and celebrated as the team lifted the trophy.
And this time the celebration was double as India successfully defended their T20 World Cup title, becoming the first team ever to do so.
Actress Anushka Sharma was one of the first people to drop his reaction and she kept it heartfelt and simple. Taking to Instagram, the actress congratulated the team and wrote, "Heartiest congratulations to this brilliant team for this phenomenal victory!! Back to back World Cup wins."
Akshay Kumar in a different and hilarious was shared a GIF of his dance from his upcoming film 'Bhoot Bangla' and wrote, "हर घर का माहौल. Congratulations on bringing the World Cup home, Team India"

Not just Bollywood but south stars also joined the celebration. Several actors from the South Indian film industry also praised the Team India.

Describing the team’s performance as "beast mode", Mahesh Babu said, "What was that!!! A magnificent testimony to Team India’s dominance unleashing full beast mode to bring it home for 1.4 billion hearts."
He also praised the players individually, mentioning Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Shivam Dube, Jasprit Bumrah, Axar Patel, and the rest of the squad for making the victory unforgettable.

India scripted history as they lifted the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, defeating New Zealand in final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, which was packed with more than 120,000 fans.
